Very happy to say this is complete. Fan art version of Cheetara pauldron from Thundercats. Scultped in @monster_clay medium. Molded in @smoothon Rebound 25 and Plastipaste for the mother mold. Cold cast in aluminum in Smooth cast 325 with so strong purple pigment then backed with 65d. All from Chicago @ramaterials The raw cast flashing was first cleaned up with our @dremel 4000 rotary tool and flex wand and then was burnished with multiple es of 000 and 0000 steel wool then polished with 3 rounds of varying buffing compounds and the Mothers Aluminum mag polish on the buffing wheel. Then aged with @liquitexofficial heavy body acrylics and Winton oil paint. It has 4 chicago posts embeded in 2 layers of resin for strap mounting points. This was a great project and I may even make a brass one for me. Great to be gaining some ground on the queue. We will be putting together a step by step progress slideshow for this as well!
